About
This small lab is built for testing, learning and protecting a real home network.
Why a homelab
OpenBSD has been my firewall for more than twenty years. The lab grew around it. It started as a way to learn Kubernetes on real hardware and became a complete home network: separated networks that cannot see each other, a VPN that fails closed, and a SIEM that records every decision the firewall makes. Every layer is something I have configured, broken and fixed myself, rather than something I have only read about.
All of it runs at home today, and all of it is kept as text in Git. The interactive tour walks through it, and the write-ups tell a few of the stories behind it.
Puzzles
Not everything here is about networks. The puzzles are exercises in the style of IQ tests: matrices, number and letter series, odd one out and logic problems. They are generated in your browser, a new set every time, and your progress stays there.
